Fernand Leger

Fernand Léger was also an artist whom Ernst Scheidegger met through the gallery of Aimé MAeght. After Scheidegger’s initial  - somewhat reserved – visit to Léger’s studio, the artist invited him back on a number of occasions and this is when the photographs were taken in the painter’s simple ‚atelier’ on the Rue Notre Dame des Champs.
